FONTETA – CARRER ESGLÉSIA
This house proves to be the result of a peculiar perspective at the entrance of the historic center of Fonteta. The main challenge is to convert the main facade in the implementation of a new volume inside the plot.
Details
These premises were carried out using traditional techniques such as the Catalan volta and historical materials such as limestone mortars, avoiding an excess of concrete and steel. This attitude did not deprive the use of a contemporary architectural language, but ensures the unitary character of the whole.
The result makes it possible to differentiate the refurbishment from the extension without striking contrasts thanks to the constant, attentive and reflective look maintained throughout the construction process.
