Sometimes, in order to guarantee contemporary thermal, light and aesthetic comfort, high degrees of transformation are required. If this transformation is done using traditional techniques, the contextualization is immediate and any longing for the original building disappears. Old buildings are not always better and contemporary architecture does not always betray the preexistences, sometimes it improves them.

A project with lots of harmony and a final motivating result

At the darkest part of this rural house, we have placed the staircase. As usual the stair work in either way, space connections and light transmission. Here we just have whitewash the original walls and lime render on the new structure. The pavement has been done with beige colored concrete.

One architectural sample where quality and low cost goes together.
