Cerca del río Ter

We were commissioned to design a series of small interventions in a large farmhouse near the river Ter, where agricultural use was still maintained in combination with the use of second residence.

The first phase was to install a kitchen-dining room in front of the courtyard. In this intervention, a gradual connection was sought between interior comfort and the weather, through a series of transition spaces.

We were also able to design the pool with a character of an agricultural raft, similiar to a mix of garden and crop field.

A covered area was then renovated as guest bedrooms like an independent intervention from the rest of the house.

Finally, some warehouses of cattle origin were rehabilitated to locate a covered open space multipurpose, without increasing the original landscape impact.
