A TOWNHOUSE WITH A LOT OF PERSONALITY

Balance between tradition and modernity
The challenge was to create a balance between the pre-existing features of the farmhouse and current needs. We wanted the house to maintain this rustic soul, but with a layout and details that would improve the day-to-day life of its inhabitants.

The main house, with its solid and welcoming structure, is complemented by an annex that houses several suites, and a porch that becomes the perfect setting for the swimming pool. All these elements are designed in a dispersed manner, generating different outdoor spaces that invite you to enjoy the outdoors, and at the same time, respect the lines of the medieval buildings. Thus, every corner of the estate has a purpose, connecting the different environments of the house as if they were a natural extension of the landscape.

Natural light ant authentic character
One of the keys to this project has been to provide natural light to all spaces without losing the authentic character of the facades. Large windows protected by porches, fixed windows facing north to take advantage of the soft light and a staircase that acts as a channel of natural light, are some of the solutions we have implemented. In addition, the balconies are protected by a pergola to the west, creating a play of shadows and reflections that transforms the house throughout the day, without betraying the classic style that defines it.
