Oriol’s house, built with earth, straw, wood and lime, is the result of a personal and collective process that shows sustainable, efficient, and living architecture is possible.
The article reviews the principles of cob construction — a traditional technique that uses soil, clay, sand, and water to build sculptural walls — and highlights features such as the passive gallery, rainwater harvesting, composting toilet, and efficient heating system.
