In its 2025 edition, the Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism has published an article dedicated to the rehabilitation of the Can Fruitós farmhouse., a project that exemplifies our approach to contemporary vernacular architecture. It is an international reference journal, trilingual and open access, which gives voice to both the academic world and to professionals and master builders of traditional construction, with the explicit aim of shortening the gap between theory and practice.
The article presents Can Fruitós as an exemplary intervention, where sustainability, material coherence and continuity with traditional construction techniques are not added values, but the very starting point of the project.
