The architect Oriol Roselló, founder of Bangolo, participated in the IV Gallicant Forum with the presentation “The territorial and social virtues of traditional techniques in contemporary architecture”, a reflection on how natural materials, traditional crafts and construction knowledge can become tools for sustainability, health and social transformation.
During the conference, Roselló defended an architecture rooted in the territory, built from proximity, identity and material coherence, claiming the role of craftsmen and the need to recover a more constructive and less formal creativity.
The presentation also includes cooperation experiences developed at Bangolo and several contemporary projects of the firm, such as Hotel Castell Vallgornera, Can Bolet or Mas Fruitós, where tradition is reinterpreted from a current perspective committed to the landscape and people.
